Boxcar

Boxcar is an acoustic trio from Madison, Wisconsin celebrating the spirit and history of traditional and improvisational music. Comprised of husband-and-wife team Tim and Sheryl Hall, joined by longtime collaborator Dan Plourde, Boxcar honors the legacy of spontaneous, musical conversation in every performance. Blending the technicality of melodic interplay with the beauty of rich, vocal harmonies, Boxcar explores the timeless, shared experience between players and the audience. There is a strong familiarity within the band, as they also pay tribute to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead together in other projects.
